The Washington Learning Source (WLS) is a program of Washington's nine regional Educational Service Districts (ESDs) for establishing purchasing agreements in Washington State. There are many reasons you may want to consider becoming a WLS vendor. The WLS:

1. Conducts legal bids allowing Washington State schools to piggyback, thereby eliminating the need to respond to other bids by state agencies.
2. Includes most school districts and many private schools as members.
3. Provides cost effective marketing through a variety of means.
4. Coordinates with the state's ESDs to afford opportunities for vendors to get in front of districts in ESD venues.
5. Provides avenues for coordinating training through regional ESDs.
6. Allows a contract holder to designate resellers and update through the life of the contract.
7. Allows two-year contracts with three optional renewal years.
8. Provides a prominent place on the WLS website for a dedicated page, product descriptions, category description, and news articles.
9. Provides an easy to use shopping cart interface for receiving orders from Washington customers.
10. Allows space in a quarterly newsletter that is sent to schools.
